About the Role

At seeMotion, our Fabrication and Assembly Teams play a vital role in transforming raw materials into high-quality conveyor and material handling systems. We’re looking for skilled, detail-oriented individuals who take pride in precision craftsmanship, teamwork, and safety.

Each role within the department contributes to the complete manufacturing process—from cutting and forming components to finishing, coating, and final assembly.

Positions Included in This Team:

Welder

Responsible for fabricating and assembling metal components using MIG and TIG welding techniques. Reads blueprints, interprets drawings, and ensures strong, accurate welds that meet design and safety standards.
Key Skills: Blueprint reading, welding safety, precision fabrication, quality inspection.

Laser Operator

Operates and maintains the laser cutting station to produce parts according to specifications. Responsible for setup, programming, material handling, and maintaining cut quality.
Key Skills: CNC or laser machine operation, technical accuracy, material optimization.

Powder Coat Operator

Prepares and applies powder coating finishes to fabricated parts. Ensures consistent coating thickness, proper curing, and high-quality surface finishes. Maintains booth cleanliness and follows all safety protocols.
Key Skills: Surface preparation, coating application, oven curing, attention to detail.

Press Brake Operator

Operates the press brake to form sheet metal and structural components according to blueprints and tolerances. Performs setup, tooling changes, and dimensional checks throughout production.
Key Skills: Machine setup, blueprint interpretation, precision forming, equipment maintenance.

Roller Fabricator

Responsible for manufacturing the metal rollers used in conveyor systems. This includes cutting tubing to precise lengths, machining ends, pressing and fitting bearings, and ensuring each roller meets quality and dimensional standards. The roller fabricator works closely with the assembly team to maintain production flow and consistency.
Key Skills: Operation of roller assembly and press equipment, measuring and cutting metal tubing accurately, bearing installation and end-cap pressing, quality inspection for alignment and balance, mechanical aptitude, and precision workmanship.

Assembler Mechanic (Assembly Department)

Responsible for the final mechanical assembly of conveyor systems and material handling equipment. Aligns, fastens, and tests mechanical components to ensure complete system functionality prior to delivery.
Key Skills: Mechanical assembly, use of hand and power tools, reading mechanical drawings, teamwork.
