Position Summary

seeMotion is seeking motivated Assembly Technicians to join our growing team. This position is responsible for assembling conveyor systems, material handling equipment, and custom machinery according to engineering drawings and company standards.

Successful candidates will be mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, and capable of working both independently and as part of a team to produce high-quality equipment for our customers.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
• Assemble conveyor systems and related equipment according to engineering drawings and work instructions.
• Read and interpret blueprints, assembly drawings, and specifications.
• Use hand tools, power tools, measuring devices, and shop equipment safely and effectively.
• Install bearings, rollers, motors, gearboxes, sensors, and other mechanical components.
• Verify dimensions and quality of assembled components.
• Assist with equipment testing and troubleshooting.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with fabrication, controls, and engineering departments to ensure project success.
• Assist with loading, unloading, and movement of materials as needed.

Qualifications
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous manufacturing, assembly, maintenance, automotive, construction, or mechanical experience preferred.
• Ability to read measuring devices accurately.
• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
• Ability to follow instructions and work in a team environment.
• Forklift and overhead crane experience is a plus.

Physical Requirements
• Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to safely use hand and power tools.
